J-chip Reader was strong enough to high temperature !!

The maximum operating temperature of J-chip reader is 50 degrees C in the specification.

This time, the case of 50 degrees C or more was assumed and the temperature test was executed at an official research institute in Japan.
As a result, J-chip reader operated even the outside temperature 65 degrees C.

An internal temperature of J-chip reader becomes 75 degrees for the outside temperature 65 degrees.

J-chip reader is possible to use without any problem under a hot environment at the summer time.

However, we will recommend putting the cover or sunshade on J-chip reader while measuring it to avoid the direct sunshine to LCD on the front panel and specification of operating temperature is 50 degrees C.

Test place: Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute, JAPAN.
Testing equipment: Faster temperature & humidity chamber Manufactured by Tabai Espec Corp.
Type of temperature sensor: Thermocouple(2 sets)

One is set at outside of J-chip reader's case, another is on the surface of internal module for internal trigger circuit part.

The J-chip reader is put in the test chamber then increased temperature by following interval.
